It's starting to feel like a proper Virginian summer: sunshine with unpredictable rain showers and endless humidity. I'm hoping the sunshine part will follow me to California when I head to LA next week (yes, the trip is finally booked). 

Congrats to my cousin, who graduated high school last week! USC is lucky to have you.

With graduation over, I've officially entered summer-mode. Even though classes ended over a month ago, I still don't have set summer plans. But those who know me well know that I am incapable of planning trips in advance. It's an Ahn family trait. I'm still finalizing my trip to California that I'm supposedly leaving in a week for.

After a few days of unbearable heat, the weather finally cooled off. It went from bathing suit-only weather to proper clothing climates.

To end my four years at McGill, it came down to a walk across stage. The usher at the bottom of the stairs reminded me: one, don't be nervous and two, don't trip. Thanks to her kind choice of words, I instantly regretted wearing heels. But thankfully, my 10-second walk was trip-free.

Good luck to all the recent graduates! Can't wait to see where everyone will be the next time we all reunite.

I'm currently on a 12-hour drive to Montreal for an upcoming week of celebration! Can't wait to reunite with my classmates and toast to the great four years we've shared.

There's no better time to take a day off than during a lag between exams. After a hectic last week of classes, I treated myself to a Bota Bota spa day. If you go before 11 AM, Monday through Friday, you get a 3-hr water circuit session for $30. Worth every dollar! After a series of sauna sessions with ice bath dips, I truly felt detoxed. The day ended with an equally wonderful lunch at Le Cartet (had to splurge with a glass of wine).

With the semester wrapping up, it was only fitting to snap around on campus. Montreal is still in-between seasons, but we had some warm weather on Thursday. Decided an afternoon stroll around campus was fill in the downtime.

I'm trying to enjoy the calm before the (exam-)storm.

It's officially Spring! If Montreal can crack into the positives for three days in a row, I call that a seasonal change. At least I can nurse my cold with the rays. Any advice on how to regain your voice? I went from a much likable raspy voice to that of a boy going through puberty...

I came home to a mini family reunion, so the last few days have been all about family dinners and telling embarrassing stories about each other. While the adults played a round of golf, my sister and I took my cousin around my town on Friday.

Here, finally, are some long overdue pictures from my impromptu trip home in January. Decided this was appropriate as I will be spending Easter weekend in Virginia. I'm hoping the snow will be gone by the time I'm home. I see enough of it in Montreal, please don't follow me south. 

I decided to go with a neutral color palette for brunch (definitely a Montreal influence).Weekend brunch is something we always do in my family and it was a great way to end my quick getaway filled with mimosas, wine, delicious food and being with my family. To sum it up, the weekend was, as Chandler from Friends would say, perfection.

Montreal's first day of Spring was welcomed with a snowstorm. Seriously, when will it ever stop snowing. Thought it was fitting to reminisce with some sunny shots from St. Barths. Plus, my sleep deprived would rather blog that cram for that Chem midterm in two hours. 

My family and I enjoyed a short, but incredible 4 days in St Barths. It was so hard narrowing pictures for this post, but hope you get the idea of how beautiful this island is.

After my trip to St Barths, I was welcomed home to a giant storm that left my neighborhood almost tree-less. I couldn't be more impatient for Spring to come. At least the weather decided to be more kind and Virginia treated me to some warm rays and blue skies before I headed back to Montreal.

I wore an all-blue outfit for a dinner out with the family. My outfit was complete with my mom's vintage navy bag from the 90s. The bag is so on point with current top-handle bag trend and the navy matched my skirt perfectly. The coat is also a mommy-closet raid find. Love and hate that my mom is trendier than I am.
