The title of this post is actually a lie. I spent less than 48 hours in New York. Those precious hours were packed with just about everything possible. Last Sunday was Chinese New Years and apart from the piles of (melting) snow, the sun was shining and it was a great start to the new year! The day started with brunch at Lido with bottomless mimosas, which pretty much kickstarted an adventurous rest of the day: a stroll on the Highline, crossing the Brooklyn Bridge, walking through Chinatown and ending up in Midtown for a Rangers game.
Even though I live in Montreal, I'm not that much of a hockey fan, but seeing a game live is something different. I was treated to a 5-1 Rangers win with an exciting goal in the last 8 seconds of the game.
