I had a Notebook moment this weekend when I went canoeing on Lake Massawippi. The crucial difference between the movie and my boating experience was the fact that Ryan Gosling was not rowing the boat for me, nevertheless I still had a breathtaking view of the lake and the fall foliage.

Also, wearing shorts at the end of October in Canada? Check.
